Meet Dr. Scott Thayer, DDS, MS

Education and Training
Dr. Scott Thayer was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University where he met his wife, Domenique.
Dr. Thayer went on to attend the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, graduating with high honors. Following dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Thayer then pursued his passion for endodontics by completing his specialty training at LSU School of Dentistry. After completing his training, he founded Leon River Endodontics to bring exceptional endodontic care to Central Texas.
Board Certification
Dr. Thayer achieved Board Certification from the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) in August 2024. Board certification demonstrates a commitment to the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence in endodontics.

Outside the Office
Dr. Thayer and his wife, Domenique, have two wonderful kiddos, John Beckett and Lennon, who keep them on their toes and super busy!
When not at the office, you can find Dr. Thayer watching sports, keeping active in any way possible, and living his life to the fullest with family and friends.
