Meet Dr. Scott Bryant, DDS, MS

Education and Training
Dr. Scott Bryant grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma. He earned his chemistry degree from Oklahoma State University, where he met his wife, Valerie.
Dr. Bryant attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During dental school, he was awarded the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) scholarship.
Military Service
After dental school, Dr. Bryant completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then served four years as a general dentist at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, where he received quarterly and annual awards and served as the Dental Lab Flight Commander.
Dr. Bryant completed his endodontics residency through a combined military program — one year at LSU in New Orleans and one year at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. He earned his Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
Following residency, Dr. Bryant served as Chief of Endodontics at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. During this time, he also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor through the Department of Defense. He deployed to Kuwait in support of military operations.
Joining Leon River Endodontics
After completing his military service, Dr. Bryant partnered with Dr. Thayer at Leon River Endodontics to serve the Central Texas community. His extensive clinical training and leadership experience strengthen our commitment to providing the highest level of endodontic care.
Outside the Office
In his free time, Dr. Bryant enjoys creating memories with his family. He and Valerie stay busy chasing around their children Anderson, Connor, and Alice.
